Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to:

  • Investigation and verification services

  • Personal and corporate consultation sessions

  • Webinars, workshops, and training events

  • Online or offline payments made through www.chercheurdetectives.in or authorized partners

It does not apply to:

  • Third-party platforms or agencies not directly managed by Chercheur Detectives

  • Unauthorized payments made to individuals claiming to represent the company

 

 

Service Confirmation

A service is considered confirmed only when:

  1. The client accepts the official quotation or proposal

  2. Payment or advance amount is successfully received

  3. Written or email confirmation is issued by Chercheur Detectives

Once confirmed, our team begins the process of planning, resource allocation, and data gathering — therefore, cancellation or refund is limited as described below.

 

Cancellation by Client (Investigation & Consulting Services)

Because investigative assignments involve manpower, technology, and confidentiality, fees are non-refundable once work has begun.

Below are the standard conditions:

If client provides false or misleading information❌ No refund and services will be terminated immediately

💡 Note: Investigation work begins once background verification, planning, or any communication with third parties has been initiated.

 

Cancellation by Client (Webinars, Training, or Events)

  • All webinar or event tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.

  • If a participant cannot attend the event, they may request rescheduling (if applicable) or access to a recorded session, subject to organizer approval.

  • Refunds are only considered in rare cases of duplicate payment or technical errors.

To request a correction or rescheduling, please email info@chercheurdetectives.in within 48 hours of ticket purchase.

 

Cancellation by Chercheur Detectives

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel any service or event under the following circumstances:

  • Unavoidable operational or technical issues

  • Legal or compliance-related restrictions

  • Speaker unavailability (in case of webinars)

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, network failure, pandemic restrictions, etc.)

If we cancel or postpone an event/service:

  • Clients will receive a full refund of the amount paid, OR

  • An option to reschedule or transfer to another session or service of equal value

Refunds (if any) will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.

 

Duplicate or Erroneous Payments

If a duplicate or excess payment is made accidentally, please notify us immediately at info@chercheurdetectives.in with the following details:

  • Transaction reference number

  • Payment date

  • Amount paid

  • Payment method

Upon verification, the duplicate payment will be refunded within 7–10 working days

 

Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved:

  • Processing may take 7 to 10 business days.

  • Refunds will be made only to the original mode of payment (credit card, UPI, bank transfer, etc.).

  • Any transaction charges or payment gateway fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

 

No Refund Policy – Confidential Cases

For investigation assignments involving:

  • Matrimonial or relationship cases

  • Missing person tracing

  • Corporate internal verification

  • Cyber investigation or data recovery

👉 No refund shall be provided once work has started or field activity has been initiated, regardless of the outcome.
This is because such services involve third-party coordination, time, and operational costs that cannot be reversed.

 

Force Majeure Clause

We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, fire, floods, pandemics

  • War, riots, or government restrictions

  • Internet or server outages

  • Acts of God

In such cases, we may reschedule services rather than offer refunds.

The following items or fees are strictly non-refundable:

  • Consultation fees

  • Field investigation fees

  • Report documentation and verification charges

  • Event tickets and training registrations

  • Administrative and GST components

2️⃣ Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute regarding a refund or cancellation, you may contact our support team first.
If unresolved, the matter will be governed under Indian laws, and jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.
